Infant Feeding Support
At Tongue-Tie North West, both Laura and Sharon are qualified health professionals, fully trained IBCLCs and tongue-tie practitioners. An IBCLC has the highest standard of infant feeding support training and is known as the gold standard for feeding support.
Initial consultations with us last around 1 hour and involve taking a full history, assessment of feeding and oral anatomy and function examination.
We work with you to provide support with any feeding issues and come up with an individualised feeding plan.

Tongue-Tie Division
We offer tongue-tie assessments and divisions at our clinic in Chester.
The initial assessment helps us to confirm whether a tongue-tie is present, and we offer same-day divisions (frenulotomy) with excellent aftercare support.
We will discuss treatment options with you once we have completed an assessment of infant feeding (breast or bottle) and anatomy and function of baby’s tongue.
We will see babies for tongue-tie division up to 12 months of age.

Rounded Support Package
